If we're expected to believe that Instagram never intended to sell users' photos and data, then they shouldn't have explicitly given themselves the right to do so. I call BS. Chances are they're just borrowing a page from Facebook's playbook: propose controversial changes, back off amid user outrage, wait until people forget or lose interest, and then move forward with the changes.
