Sometimes it's a good idea to dig back through unedited photos to see if there's anything there that you never got around to processing. That's the case with this one, shot about this time of year in 2013. 
I love Bonsai Rock on Lake Tahoe. There have been many images of this taken by many people, but each one has its own unique character as the lighting changes so much here. Definitely worth the scramble down the embankment if you're ever in the area.

Technically this was shot prior to my last critique round, but it was part of a set of RAW images I had never gotten around to playing with… So the major work here was in processing with Photomatix and LR.
