rather than shoot stock and hope someone wants it, Image Brief lets potential clients specify what they want…and if you can shoot it, or have it in your archives, you can show your work to them (but you'll be competing with others for 'easy' assignments!)

What a great concept!
I thought so, +Heather Webb.. Once I get my grad studies behind me I hope to have more time for shooting, and perhaps make some additional $ in the process…
I've been on it for a month or so and submitted some images but not extensively and have not sold anything yet either but I like the concept behind it. I just have few question regarding licensing of the images once you sold them.
I submitted a couple too, +Angelika Perry, but it was for fairly generic categories where there were many other submissions too…
… and yes, it is not really clear what the deal is on licensing is… I didn't see any wording anywhere that photographers are granting any kind of exclusive license to the buyers, and we should still be free to use the image for other purposes… but I would hate to run into a 'gotcha' situation where an image was accepted, and then I found that I was no longer able to use that image publicly for any other purpose…
Yep +Dave Bell that part got me a bit worried as well. Not that I think if I ever sell one on that site suddenly there is a big demand for the same image…but I hate to find out after the fact that I can't use it. Although I can't think that would be the case if they go by the stock image model because when you buy a stock image its not being pulled off that site and others can't buy the same image. Just wish it was more clear….
