…on this particular night, the moon disappeared for a time…
…but they brought it back an hour or so later.

I don't think I'll be able to attach the camera, since it's open-viewing time for students…
…but I was just informed that a key I already have for some classrooms opens up the gates on the road and the observatory… so I can pop back in whenever I want!

I think They had to repair that hole we punched in it recently to analyze the soil…
The moon was out running errands or something last night, so we had nice dark skies to peek at Saturn and its beautiful rings, Jupiter and 4 of its moons, the M13 cluster of gazillion stars, and the spiral Whirlpool Galaxy over 20 million light-years away.
Viewing was for the students who came out, so I'll have to come back solo on another night to attach my DSLR.
