Backyard Drippiness

How super is a super moon?
I'm not sure why we (humans) get so crazy about 'biggest' things that are only slightly larger than 'normal.'
For instance, here's a nice comparison between a 'supermoon' and the smallest that the moon appears… I would dare you to be able to walk out on a particular night not knowing whether you're seeing super or mini…and be able to tell the difference just by looking.
So, what's this obsession we have with 'biggest' things?

Mom's Daisies

I've never forgotten what +Colby Brown taught me…if you can't find inspiration in your back yard, you're not trying hard enough.
(In this case, it's my front yard)
I live in the home where my parents lived for 23 years…and they planted these daisies, which make their appearance at the end of the driveway each year without fail. Mom watered them faithfully, and they remind me of her whenever I arrive back home.

Ok, it's a silly quick shot
but when +Eric Cheng posted that the +Lytro now has WiFi transfer to iOS as well as the ability to create an animated GIF, (yes, "jiff"!), I had to try the update and a quick test in the kitchen…
…and here's the first shot out of the box, that auto-appeared on my iPad, and then quickly on to G+
