Half-a-Hundred

Yep, Monday marks the big five-oh for me.
…so my sweet wife Susie and I are taking some time to get away and just explore around the Lake Tahoe area together.

This is our home base, not far from the entrance to Heavenly Ski Resort, thanks to a very special friend who graciously gave us a few nights in his cabin.

How super is a super moon?

I'm not sure why we (humans) get so crazy about 'biggest' things that are only slightly larger than 'normal.'

For instance, here's a nice comparison between a 'supermoon' and the smallest that the moon appears… I would dare you to be able to walk out on a particular night not knowing whether you're seeing super or mini…and be able to tell the difference just by looking.

So, what's this obsession we have with 'biggest' things?
