+Scott Fegette joins +Ron Clifford +Jan Kabili and +Dave Bell in another information packed episode!

There is POWER in that Channels Panel

About +Scott Fegette
Sometimes I feel like Photoshop ate my life! A prerelease copy of Photoshop 1.0 blew my mind in my mid-twenties and pulled me off the road as a hard-working, traveling musician – taking odd creative jobs cleaning up photos, designing CD and book jackets, and learning how to use the rest of the computer to help support my imaging habit.  A few years later I found myself working with guru Kai Krause helping to build the Kai’s Power Tools plug-ins and imaging apps, managing his website, and editing his popular series of Photoshop channel and selection ‘power tips'.  And a few years after that I ended up landing at Adobe as a product manager, working alongside Photoshop day in and day out in my role as the PM for Dreamweaver – finally landing at the mothership myself.

About The Channels Panel
The Channels panel is one of my personal go-to panels in PS – but one that’s been misunderstood in many ways over the years – even though much of the old magic we could conjure up with it  back in the PS 3.0 era can now be achieved nondestructively with layer effects, there’s still a ton of power to be had in the Channels panel for creating and working with Photoshop selections and masks of all sorts.

When we asked +Chris Orwig what he wanted to share with all of you he jumped out of his chair and said,

"Super excited about the show. My topic is going to be, "Capturing those magic moments". I am going to show the process of how I seek to capture and then eventually select the moments that mean the most. In order to do this, we'll dig into a few unedited folders of images in Lightroom to give a behind the scenes look at the photos that were captured. Here we'll look at how using Collections in incredibly important for whittling down to the keepers. We'll look at a few different examples:  iPhone photos, commercial shoot and a personal project. Finally, I'll highlight a few steps in Lightroom to make some improvements. "

O.K. maybe he didn't "jump" out of his chair, but he is excited to share his knowledge with you!

Tuesday at 9pm eastern, 6pm Pacific LIVE right here on this event.
you can always come back anytime after and watch the recorded version.

This is a great tutorial from +RC Concepcion on how to set up Lightroom to make it easy to make your Google+ cover photo into a collage.

And also check the link for the first video where he showed how to do it with Photoshop and Bridge.

Awesome tips that are useful for other things besides just your cover photo.

Make a New Google+ Cover Page w Lightroom
Yesterday I made a video after +Sara McKinley post on the changes to the cover image: (link: http://bit.ly/WUbLtN ). The video showed how to make a cover photo collage in #photoshop   .  +Stephen Dickson asked if there was a way to do this in #Lightroom   – so I made a 90 sec video on that.  If you find it helpful, share it out.
