I've been revisiting the archives, and re-discovered this from 2012 and spent some time processing…a wonderful day out shooting with +Annette Biggers at +Castello di Amorosa near Calistoga, CA, complete with its own sheep pen… Jon & Sharelle Hall were our tireless models for the day.

Yeah, it's an old silly joke I heard when I was a kid…
…Nothing…he just let out a little wine…
These Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are about to get a stomping much more thorough than an elephant's foot, as the Napa Valley Crush is about to begin.
Soon the aroma of the freshly crushed grapes will fill the valley as the wineries start picking, transporting, and processing.
These grapes are in a vineyard near St Helena, in the north end of the valley.

One of my favorite spots in the world…Camp Mivoden on Hayden Lake, ID.
Starting with summer camp at age 10, I've spent many weeks here as camper and counselor, and many other events… but always in summer.
Last night was my first opportunity to come in during a snowstorm…but we had to leave again before the dawn…
…so just a couple moments to catch a quick shot with the camera sitting on the deck railing.
