I had the privilege of being behind the camera for the filming of this episode of The Chat with +Karen Hutton 
   Jennifer Freeman is an incredible young woman, setting her own course as an actor in Hollywood… in an industry which will continuously pressure you to compromise your integrity… A powerful chat!

I sat down with actress Jennifer Freeman during an +Annette Biggers photo shoot at the famed +Castello di Amorosa in the Napa Valley awhile back. I had just met Jennifer that weekend, but I knew she had a story to tell.

Despite being nervous about interviews (I explained the difference between "The Chat" and "an interview". She was delighted to discover the difference! Heehee), she was game enough to take the time to share some of her inspiring story.

While waiting for my flight home this morning, I thought I'd put a few steps on the pedometer, and wandered over to the International terminal of IAH… and it seems that the 'Intercontinental' aspect is a bit short on people…

It's time to add your best from 2013 for possible inclusion in the PlusOne Collection book. As always, it's to raise money for charity, and make a darn gorgeous book of some of the best G+ photos from the past year.

Vikingsholm Between the Storms

This 38-room mansion was built in the 1920s at the edge of Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe, California.
As the approaching storm was kicking up brisk winds, and snow began to fall, we took the mile-long trek down the trail from the parking area above and enjoyed our own private views of the bay and this stately old home. I doubt the weather would have allowed us to make the trip tomorrow.

Snow finally comes to Vikingsholm

  We've been in severe drought conditions in California, but we're finally getting some relief this weekend.
  This is my wonderful wife, at the edge of Emerald Bay on Lake Tahoe (Vikingsholm is the 38-room mansion built here in the 1920s).
  After the mile-long hike back up to the parking area, the snow really started coming down in earnest… we may have a foot of it by morning.
